A Promise Fulfilled

In the summer of 2022, while out for a sunset drive with Tom, I spotted a purple school bus for sale at the side of the road. As we drove past the bus, I heard the Lord tell me that one day I would have a purple bus for my ministry and... it would be gifted to me!

God told me that it would be a storytelling oasis, something intriguing to take to festivals, fairs, and more to tell the story of Jesus with the Immanuel Quilt. I took God's word as a promise, and I told many people that God was going to gift me a bus.

Well. . .

FIRST OUTING

Christmas Parade

It took eight months to complete the transformation. There were many hoops, hits, and hurdles to overcome to get the bus mission ready, but it was finished in time for us, our family, four generations to put it in the Christmas parade in the town in which our boys grew up.

We almost didn't make it. The day of the parade, the bus didn't want to start. But God answered our prayers, and we were able to roll!

No matter where we take the bus, it draws in the young and the old to hear the story of Jesus I share.
